A 30" Hydro Ghanti
conventionally known in the industry as a 30-Inch Hydro Extractor Machine—is a high-speed centrifugal dewatering machine. In regional Indian textile clusters (like Surat), workers often refer to it as a "Ghanti" due to its circular, vertical drum shape and bell-like appearance.
It is used immediately after the washing or dyeing stage to spin wet fabrics at high speeds, forcing excess water out through a perforated wall using centrifugal force.
